Midazolam Induced Abnormal Movements in Preterm Newborns: Case Series

Objectives − The aim of our article is to highlight the adverse effects midazolam, which causes abnormal behavior and a paradoxical behavioral reaction, although it used for sedation seizure control, as well preoperative procedure-related in neonates.Case Presentation We report myoclonic seizure-like activity four preterm neonates, who received intravenous midazolam before laser photocoagulation retinopathy prematurity seizures.
